Hi All,
I am trying to install MQClient 7.5 on AIX 5.3, i have uninstalled existing 7.0.1.3 and tried installing MQclient 7.5.0.2, but during pre-installation check it is failed with below error
fileset could not be found on the installation media.
bos.rte 6.1.5.0 # Base Level Fileset
The version I am using is below
WS_MQ_CLIENT_FOR_AIX_7.5.0.2_EIM.tar
Please help me, do I need get the bos.rte file anywhere ? is there way that I could get it done? |

It's a standard AIX file set. You would use smitty to install.
You should triple check that MQ 7.5 supports AIX 5.3.
I'd be rather surprised if it did.

You can't do that, the minimum level for MQ 7.5 is AIX 6.1 TL5, hence the prereq for bos.rte 6.1.5.0
