Hi Folks, I'm in a pinch due to replicating a V6 version of MQ to a V7 version where namelists and topics get wiped out (deleted) and when I try to recreate I get AMQ7042. Any idea how to resolve this and recreate the TOPICS? Does anyone have a resolution to this?

Thanks, Frank

RCRMQMOBJ OBJ(SYSTEM.BASE.TOPIC) OBJTYPE(*TOPIC) MQMNAME(SCREEN.POP.QM1) is getting me

 Message . . . . : Media image not available for object SYSTEM.BASE.TOPIC.

 Cause . . . . . : The media image for object SYSTEM.BASE.TOPIC, type TOPIC,

is not available for media recovery. A log file containing part of the

Recovery . . . : A previous message indicates which log file could not be

accessed. Restore a copy of the log file and all subsequent log files from

backup. If this is not possible, you must delete the object instead.

 Technical Description . . . . . . . . : None.

I'd like to add more info on this. When I try to delete it the TOPIC I'm getting

AMQ8712

PubSub is disabled for this queue manager...but my QM shows that

PSMODE is *ENABLED...any ideas on that? |

was the queue manager created as an upgrade or as a new queue manager?

Does the object exist at all?

If the object never existed did you try the version of strmqm recreating the system objects ? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

				| The QM was created by replication software from another iSeries. STRMQM rdefine *YES doesn't work. |

Exactly what replication software? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
