I get some unkown characters at the beginning of the xml data when I read the message from a queue and printing to console using MQ java API .I put the message on the queue using MQ java API.
Any help would be appreciated.

<MV_INTEGRATION_DOC DATE="2007/09/21" TIME="15:16:57">
<DOCUMENT_HEADER>
<PUBLISHER>MVM</PUBLISHER>

Remember that the ONLY correct way to read a message after a writeutf() from the putter is a readutf() from the getter...

And remember, also, that it's almost never correct to use writeutf().

AFAIK this is a Microsoft 'invention'.
This 3-character-sequence indicates a UTF8-Sig encoded text file.
Which simply comes down to an UTF-8 encoded text file, preceded by these 3 characters.
