I want to know how to implement Web services concept in Mainframes.

A simple Application program acting as a Service Provider(Mainframe)

gets a request, processes it and sends the response back.

Please help me............ |

And DB2 acts as a Web Service provider.

And Broker on zOS acts as a Web Service Provider.

And WAS on zOS acts as a Web Service Provider. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

	| The easiest manner to have a webservice up and running on mainframe is using Websphere Application Server for z/OS. You can use the same code as distributed platforms. |

I'd say it's a lot easier to use Message Broker on z/OS. You can use the same code as distributed platforms. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
