Hi. I have some question regarding ICS features. Can I schedule a collaboration ar regular interval without using adapter to trigger it?

For example, I would like a collaboration to start every 5 minutes, it will than retrieve data from a backend system then update it to another system.

Thank you very much in advanced

Best regards, |

You can write a server access interface program and then kick it off as a cron job or a scheduled task.

That's one way I can think of.

There might be other better ways too. |

Thanks for your comment. If I understand correctly, the scheduling feature of ICS allow you to pause/stop/resume the collaboration but it can not trigger the processing of the collaboration... |

In ICS 4.3.x, the scheduler allows to control the collab with recurrence feature. It allows to start/stop/pause components every x min/hours/days/weks/months/years or run on specific days as required.

Haven't used this feature yet, used the good ol cron tab to trigger the collab using ServerAccessFramework. |
