				| Hi there,
I've got a small problem with MQSeries on an NT box; when the NT is rebooted, the QM is not automatically restarted, despite the fact that this is configured that way.
In the NT event log, I have this entry after the reboot :

	| Quote: |
	| Unexpected return code, '1', from command 'jview /cp "D:\softsv\MQSeries\mqwa\server" com.ibm.mq.mqwa.server.MQWAServer'.
An unexpected return code, '1', was returned by command 'jview /cp "D:\softsv\MQSeries\mqwa\server" com.ibm.mq.mqwa.server.MQWAServer'. This command was issued by the WebSphere MQ service for queue manager ''.

Verify that the command and parameters are correct.
 | So, what's that ? I've got no D:\softsv\MQSeries\mqwa folder, so where does this come from ?

				| MQWA seems to be IBM MQSeries Web Administration. It looks like you're very old installation of MQSeries (pre-5.1???) is trying to start an IBM MQSeries Web Admin component which now appears to be missing.
Do you really need web admin for the queue manager? Can you remove any reference to this component from the WebSphere MQ service? (I never added custom components to MQ startup on Windows, so I am not sure how to remove them - you'll have to read the manuals I'm afraid).

What have you done to MQSeries recently? If you have installed the latest CSD for your version of MQ, you may have found that the MQWA component has been removed because it is no longer produced or supported by IBM.

 HTH.

				| Well, MQSeries version 5.2 was installed, later upgraded to v5.3 with CSD 9. AFAIK nothing particular (at MQSeries level) has been done after that. So, I don't know where this stuff is coming from, but the important thing for is is : how to remove it ?

I didn't found anything related to this in the WebSphere MQ Service ... but have found WebAdministration entry in the registry, with a Startup key set to 1 ... have changed it to 0, and we'll see at next reboot ... but no idea where this comes from.

Silly, but effective.
