				Hi

I have a tricky situation here and wud like some help.

A queue (websphere 5.3) on my machine gets messages sent by a queue on another machine. I recently upgraded from 5.1 mq series. Both the sender and the receiver machines (windows 2000) have 5.3 installed on them.

I was able to read the messages using a C++ application. Now When I try to do the same I see that there is a space in between every character in the message. Am I supposed to supply some format options so as to not insert an extra space after every character..

Example.

Input: TEST MESSAGE

Output from my C++ Application: T E S T  M E S S A G E

I will appreciate your help.

Thanks

				When I browse the message I do see two bytes being taken per character. so how do i make it to assume 1 byte instead of 2. Do I have to set the CCSID to something at the time of putting the message, or covert it when I get the message. Also please let me know how i do the conversion.

Thanks, |
