How can I see, created Queue Manager's Listen on Port No. ?

I tried with " DISPLAY QMGR " command and properties of Queue Manager. I didn't see Port no. of that perticular Queue Manager. |

If you are on Windows, you can use the explorer to see what is set.

On any operating system, you can use 'netstat -a' to see what ports are listened to. This won't tell you the qmgr doing the listening, but it does come in rather handy. |

In windows yoy can see this value in properties for the listener in the MQSeries Services

On Unix, find on the etc/INETD files and the SERVICES file

when you create a manager the default value for the port is 1414 |

If it is window then that's easy to find it out.....

Just open the services and select the qmgr u want to see the port no.

check the listener properties parameters tab ... U will see the port number it is listening.

Good Luck |
