Just to start the conspiracy theory thread off. Maybe Jeff is looking at your servers and is trying to decide which files to copy?
Seriously though when we used saveqmgr (we don't use it now, we use something totally different) we used to save the files as .tst files.
We did this because it is way more secure than .txt files
Actually we really didn't care who looked at them, after all how secret can an MQ define actually be? OK..maybe the client channel names but given that the .tst files are behind a firewall and on secure server we figured...what the heck .
Security on the actually queues themselves prevents abuse or misuse. |
