So I am getting the impression that I completely misinterpreted some of this...
Thread per core => is this a zOS setup or a zLinux setup?
Core per socket => are we talking about CPU socket or network socket?
socket per book => obviously some zOS measure...
So with your 25 TPS did you at least manage to determine whether your flow was
CPU starved
IO starved
waiting on other resources like db2, etc...
