Wasn't even aware there was an issue until I saw your post. We put this in a month or so ago, had problems getting it to work, tried a recompile and hey presto!
The glory's not mine though, somebody else had the idea 'just to see if it worked'...it did, for us.
btw, we use explicit IP Addressing in CONNAME, not DNS names so don't know if that would have an effect and we use it mostly for CLIENT connections. |

We've never used inetd as HA is involved and a script was used to start Listeners, Triggers Monitors etc.; said scripts now redundant of course! _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
