Then you need to push back on whoever gave you a job for which you're not equipted, and get training off them. I certainly have enough problems with my career to worry about yours as well.

I think this site is here to help people and it stinks that some employers throw people in the deep end on the assumption we (or people like us) will bail out the deficits in their training program. On your specific point, the answer you were given was helpful, answered your point and is off-topic in this forum being an OS question not an MQ one.

As to the other question you raise about "the file", it's called the client connection table, the Clients manual describes it (unsurprisingly enough) as do many of the threads in this forum. The search button will be your friend here, as it so often is.
