				Im being told by veritas that we canot do the following on our EMC SAN with Veritas CFS. 
 
 
Three seperate file systems, he is saying we cannot have nested ones as seen below
 
 
 
/var/mqm/errors
 
/var/mqm/logs
 
/var/mqm
 
 
Saying its impossible
 
 
Has anyone else run into this, sounds like bollocks to me.... |

				I am not an expert on filesystems, but I thought you could call
 
them anything you liked, like
 
 
bollocks1
 
bollocks2
 
bollocks3 
 
 
and then mount them to their respective mount point using mount and creating symbolic links using ln 
 
 
and thus creating
 
 
/var/mqm/errors  ---> bollocks1
 
/var/mqm/logs     ---> bollocks2

				| on a internal solaris disk, sure, but veritas is saying not on the SAN while using Clustered File Systems... this is a veritas product |
