				Hi

If we are to monitor MQ Log files, what error messages can we look for, that would suggest a high severity error(level 1 or 2)?

                    Any help would be appreciated!!!

  Thanks

				I'm confused.

Is "Walker" asking this question, or "rajaram"?

In either case, there is a manual called "Messages" that contains an almost complete list of "error" messages that can be reported by WebSphere MQ. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

The things I primarily monitor for in the /var/mqm/qmgrs/MQMGR/error/AMQERR01.LOG is AMQ9999 Channel Program ended abnormally and any entry that reports a message going to the SYSTEM.DEAD.LETTER.QUEUE.

I also monitor /var/mqm/errors directory and am alerted if any .FDC files are created. It's always a good idea to have a look at those ASAP. _________________ Yes, I am an agent of Satan but my duties are largely ceremonial. |
