MQSeries.net :: View topic - MQ 2540 - channel not found

HI all,

We recently migrated our QMs from MQ 9.3.0.27 to 9.3.0.30

Since then some of our clients complained they cannot connect anymore with the error MQRC 2540 - MQ channel not found.( These were all working on the previous patch MQ 9.3.0.27 )

However on the runmqsc display I could see that channel defined !

All QMs were running under the latest patch 9.3.0.30.

After much thought, the only workaround was to recreate these affected channels - the clients could then connect.

What could have gone wrong? Has anyone experienced this before and know a root cause.

There were no errors on the QM logs. And the FDCs didnt show anything relevant either.
