I've just signed up for the Beta workshop at Hursley in July 2014!

Call me old-fashioned - but I though a Beta preceded the GA _________________ Well, I don't think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error. |

Yes, I'm not sure quite why they still call it a Beta workshop but rest assured, there has been an MQ V8 Beta Program running for some time now. I, for one, have been on the Beta Program since July last year and I believe it was running for a considerable time before then.

Cheers,

Yes, I am on the Beta program as well, I was just making fun of the workshop name.... _________________ Well, I don't think there is any question about it. The licensing section of the letter still refers to "WebSphere MQ". Previously I think it was a legal requirement to always use the full name in documentation, but maybe "MQ" is now sufficient. _________________ Glenn |

				Facepalm,

We still have not got all our legacy system onto WMQ 7.0 let alone 7.5. The target is end of the year for the last V6 QMGR to be upgraded. sigh.

Then Broker 10 is expected this summer as well.

On EOS dates - I especially like the one that withdraws MQ 7.0.1 from marketing on Sept 18th 2015 and from support on Sept 30th 2015.

Anyone who buys MQ 7.0.1 on Sept 17th is going to be really annoyed .... _________________ Well, I don't think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error. |
