				What is the content of the broker's odbc file. Is oracledb defined there? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

It's windows. There is no ODBC "file".

kumar.MBMQ - you have not issued an mqsisetdbparms for the DSN. |

Have you tried issuing the command without odbc:: ?

	| Code: |

	| mqsisetdbparms Broker1 -n oracledb -u SYSTEM  -p bank12345 |

Is your DSN name oracledb ? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

				In my flow i have mqinput _>compute-> mqout . in compute node I have :

 CALL CopyEntireMessage();

		PASSTHRU 'CREATE TABLE xe1.Customers (

  CustomerNumber INTEGER,

  FirstName      VARCHAR(256),

  LastName       VARCHAR(256),

  Street         VARCHAR(256),

  City           VARCHAR(256),

  Country        VARCHAR(256)

)' TO Database.oracledb;

where oracledb is the dsn on windows os and xe1 is the oracle connection, Customers is the table name I want to create. but I am getting warning

unresolvable dataase table reference. can I ignore this ? but the table is not created even in db . |

				You really should not be creating a table from within a broker flow.

Why can't you create the table using any of the ORacle tools available?

Remember you need special privs on oracle to create a table. These are different to those needed to insert/delete/update. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Is this at runtime or in the Toolkit?

As the DB is oracle WHY oh WHY are you not doing a select on the 'DUAL' table if all you want to do is check connectivity? _________________ WMQ User since 1999
