				Hi All,

I tried to configure HTTP Request over ssl. My message flow follows Fileinput-->Compute --->HTTPRequest---->Fileoutput. I supposed to hit external URl with http request and save corresponding response in fleoutput node.I followed the configuration steps mentioned in infocenter and sucessfully configured HTTP request over ssl.Now I am able to get Proper Http response. While configuring SSL I made several attempts and finally the step mentioned below helps me to configured sucessfully

"C:\Program Files\IBM\MQSI\6.1\jre15\bin\keytool" -import -alias mykey

-file XXX.cer -keystore cacerts -keypass changeit

Now My concern is while trying same steps in other PC's I unable to configured HTTPRequest over SSL. I checked ther certificate added to cacerts sucessfully and no network issues. Is there any thing else I am missing. Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

				Hi Sam,

As I mentioned in my previous post. I followed steps mentioned in infocenter :Configuration of HTTP Request over ssl. Still no luck.

The same msg flow works fine in my machine and

Error occurs while configuring in other machines:

I think the problem is at network level.

Try ping or telnet to that IP and the Port 443 and if you encounter the same response then submit a change request to open the port 443 to allow HTTPS connections. _________________ IBM ->Let's build a smarter planet |

Also make sure you need to restart your broker twice when the certificate is imported onto broker. That way the broker takes the new changes imported onto it.

Thanks. |

After adding certificate to Cacerts, I restarted my machine twice. Still same issue unable to hit url. Finally , I replaced HTTP request node with Java Compute Node and now everything works perfect. |

The other day, I noticed that the fuel gauge on my car was empty, and I also separately noticed that I could not get the engine to start, no matter how many times I turned the key.

So instead I went back into the garage, and got on my bike. And I wasn't late for work. |

Silly. What mqjeff is saying is, make the HTTP node work. There is nothing wrong with the HTTP node or the SOAP node. They both work famously. I wonder if the OP thought they were April Fools nodes? _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks

I stumbled on this randomly, and was really brave after a liquid lunch. I think the OP was using the April fools nodes. I rebooted twice but it still said the same thing. _________________ Rob |

I'm sorry to hear every bicycle you've ever experienced was slow, cumbersome, squeaked a lot and used an entirely proprietary architecture to extract money from you. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
