				Hi All,

As per the documentation in the IBM site I am setting permission for only a specific UNIX group to start / stop message flows. I have provided 'inq' and 'set' authority for the group on SYSTEM.BROKER.AUTH and SYSTEM.BORKER.AUTH.EG group. When I ried to test it(via an UNIX user ID that belongs to the group), I am getting the below error,

	| Code: |

mqsistartmsgflow MY_BKR -e LAB_EXEC_GROUP -m REST_FLOW

BIP8013E: Component does not exist.

A component may only be used if it has first been created.

No user action required.

 |

1) I have sourced mqsiprofile before executing the command

2) I also tried restarting the broker after providing auths. Just in case, if it is required.

3) The id which i am using to execute the command doesn't belong to 'mqbrkrs' group.

Please advise what I am missing in making mqsistartmsgflow command work for an non mqbrkrs id. |

				| Yes... Has anyone enabled WMB administration security and used a non ESB id to start / stop message flows by providing auths to SYSTEM.BROKER.AUTH and SYSTEM.BROKER.AUTH.EG queues? If so, please let me know whether I am missing something in this procedure. Thanks. |

You missed my point entirely.

The error message narrative you quoted for BIP8013E does not match the narrative IBM offers on the URL I offered. You should open a PMR with IBM to find out which is correct.

I'm presuming that you searched BIP8013E, yes? Or did you just post here - hoping that we would do the research for you? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
