				| Is anyone running RFHUtil successfully with Windows 7? It is not working for me. The main screen comes up but I cannot start browse or write a message in a queue to a file. I saw an error message in the Security Event viewer which I believe is related to RFHUtil. Any suggestions? |

RFHUtil v7.0.2 works fine for me on Win7. No special settings, not running as Administrator, no special treatment, just another app that runs when I double click it. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

For me his happening the same thing.

I am only to click MQ-> MQConn . All the other options are kept greyed.

The usual message "connect to queue manager" does not show up after clicking on MQ->MQConn several times.

RFHUtil here is 7.0.2. I tried running as Admin and got the same behaviour. |

You guys need to install RFHUtil(c) in a directory that will allow you read write privileges. You can then as admin create a shortcut in the menu...

Using Win 7 64 bit, it works best in compatibility mode XP SP3.

I discovered something quite obvious, but decided to put here for future reference for anyone searching the net.

YOU MUST INSTALL THE MQ CLIENT ON THE SAME MACHINE RFHUTIL RUNS !

Did this here, and the app worked perfectly.

Not to pour salt... but the installation doc for this supportpac says:

The main utility is provided as a single executable program (rfhutil.exe). A separate executable (rfhutilc.exe) is provided for use with WebSphere MQ clients. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
