				Hi Aparna kakani,

I hope you meant you want to implement JMS over MQ.

Why did you feel that a CSD would be required ? Did you try the JMS sample provided or tried to configure it ?

Regards. |

				| I did not try to configure it... I got a documentation which tells to install "Appropriate CSD for the version of IBM MQ" so i wanted to check if we need to install CSD for configuring JMS |

New installations should always be done at the latest fix level of the product. For WMQ v6, this is 6.0.2.6.

For WMQ v7, this is 7.0.0.1.

Yes, you should install a CSD. |

Post the link?

And consider installing a CSD because it's a good idea. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

				| All fixpacks are cumulative. That means that 6.0.0.2 FP contains everything that was in 6.0.0.1, and so forth unto even 6.0.2.6, and FP 7.0.0.2 will contain everything in 7.0.0.1. |

For configuring JMS for WMQ v6, the base version is good enough, as said above.

But v6.0.2.6 is better for the reasons given above.

So apply that, and go forward. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
