What is OTC? i.e. Over The Counter?
Is that similar to MSRP? (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price)

I get asked all the time about lower prices, special case prices, educational discounts, etc.. All of my product's prices are published on my web site and I stick to those prices (except when I run a beta program then I offer beta testers a special discounted price).

You need to determine and clearly state the price and what you offer in each plan. You can do both a standard software offering and subscription plan but I would drop the 'Try & Buy' plan. Just give them a free 30-day trial. But with dual plans, you will probably get people trying to pick features from each plan.
