Hi all,
I have installed MQ v 6.0.2 and Message Broker V 6.0.2. toolkit uses eclipse 3.3.
MQ uses eclipse 3.0.1. Now i want upgrade for eclipse in MQ fom 3.0.1 to newer version 3.0.2. becuse fix IS02 requires eclipse 3.0.2 as prerequisite.
could you please let me know how to upgrade eclipse 3.0.1 to 3.0.2 for MQ explorer? and where can i find the eclipse 3.0.2 software.

I'd thought that IS02 included instructions for this?
Use the Eclipse update manager.
You need to change MQ Explorer to start in an Eclipse workbench first.
I know IS02 includes instrucitons for that.

Hi Jeff,
I checked the instruction of IS02 and, I guess i missed this some where.
It would be greatly helpful if u let me know how to start MQ explorer in eclipse workbench?

Hi Jeff,
Now i am able to open MQ explorer in eclipse workbench. and updated Eclipse to 3.2.
after restarting MQ explorer i am getting the response, "error occured see the log file".
I checked the eclipse log file and found that the below error.

I'm sure you meant to update to Eclipse 3.0.2, and did that, and only made a typo when you said you updated to 3.2.
Those errors are not significant.
Do strmqcfg -i, strmqcfg -c.

Yes its typo mistake. Now i updated eclipse to 3.0.2 and able to open explorer.
I have done the following steps
1. unzipped the folder IS02 to MBAdmin in C
2. edited the file com.ibm.etools.wmadmin.broker.explorer.link in MBAdmin folder path=c:/MBAdmin
3. Moved the file com.ibm.etools.wmadmin.broker.explorer.link to C:\Program Files\IBM\Eclipse SDK30\eclipse\links.
4. restarted the MQ explorer.
when i opened MQ explorer and checked the broker explorer but i didn't find this in my explorer. (windows-->Preferences-->WebSphere MQ Explorer-->Enable plug-ins).
Is there any thing required to do to display broker explorer in MQ explorer?

Searching at mqseries.net and the net didn't show any results, ... |
