				Hi,

I have 2 IP addresses associated with MQ Solaris server, one is physical IP and one is virtual IP.

I want to send the messages from virtual IP, I found in Admin guide that i can mention IP and portnumber in LOCLADDR attribute on sender channnel. I have used that but didn't work, can you please suggest me.

Thanks |

				| Hmmm, what kind of sender channel is it? Did it stop and start since you made the change? |

What was the result? Clearly not what you wanted, but what? Did it use the phyisical IP?

				Like I said

For my MQ server I have 2 IP's one is physical IP and second one is virtual IP.If I start my channel I'm seeing physical IP in LOCLADDR attribute of channel. So basically I would like to use my virtual IP.

So basically what is LOCLADDR attribute? why we use that attribute?

Thanks |

For setting the address on the local side of the channel. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Thanks Jeff for your reply,Tthat means I can give my server IP and port range for LOCLADDR attribute so that I can send my outbound traffic from that specified IP and port range.

Thanks |
