Taking a step back, exits are traditionally considered an advanced topic so I wouldn't feel too bad at having trouble with the subject.

There are not that many instances in real life where you need to write them. Typical exit uses are things like mirrorq, monitoring or security exits, which tend to come supplied (unless you fancy inventing your own wheel of course).

There's a good sticky in here on exits which you might find useful (if you've not found it already of course).

That is a useful piece of information! thank you..is it like the SupportPacs(which are created by somebody for the betterment of the society)?

I have known about the sticky...i'll now check it more enthusiastically.

Well mirrorq (as you know) is a piece of sample code. Monitoring & security exits tend to come supplied when you buy the commercial product they're part of, which are created by somebodies for the betterment of their profits.
