				thank you for your reply.

I have typical installation for both of the servers. Apparently key management on one of the servers cannot be opened and launched.

I don't know what is the problem as i been using the same cd and installation type for both servers. |

To further elaborate, both servers using the same username(administrator) under the same domain. They are inside Microsoft Clustering environment.

I have checked the event viewer inside the server where key management could not be opened. The error is :

" AMQ9741 - A problem occurred during a Windows operation. During operation 'CreateProcess', the windows return code '2' was generated.

Consult the windows reference manual to determine the meaning of return code '2' for operation 'CreateProcess' " |

Does the strmqikm.exe file exist? Can you cd (change directory) down the path and see the strmqikm.exe fiile? Is the above path in the search path? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

What is the JAVA_HOME environment variable set to in each of the servers A and B?

Is there a java jre there?

If you did the standard install you may have to do the specific one and install the MQ Java stuff.

				Hey fjb_saper,

The JAVA_HOME i set to "C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\MQSI\7.0\jre16".

The this jre exists in the file system too. And I do see an icon "IBM Key Management" under Programs -->IBM WebSphere MQ folder. So i believe it was already installed as part of WebSphere MQ. _________________ Regards
