				Hi,

I am having problems connecting to the ConfigMgr from within the WBIMBV6 toolkit.

When I try to create a domain connection and try to connect to the ConfigMgr, I get the following error:

Could not connect to queue manager 'WBRKQM' (MQ reason code 2195)

2195 is MQRC_UNEXPECTED_ERROR.

I have installed WBIMBV6 on Windows. I have defined the ConfigMgr Queue manager and the listener is running on port 1414 and the IBM mqseries services is also running. I have also successfully created the configMgr and its service is running too.

The event viewer says:

	| Quote: |

	A communications error for TCP/IP occurred.

An unexpected error occurred in communications.

The return code from the TCP/IP (ioctlsocket) call was 10038 (X'2736'). Record these values and tell the systems administrator. |

Any ideas why it is not connecting to the ConfigMgr Queue manager ? _________________ IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere MQ V5.3 |

				Hi hsalim,

Go to the toolkit's

Window-->Preferences-->Broker Administration-->Configuration Manager Proxy

and increase the maximum retry attempts to 5 or 10.

Now try to connect.

Regards. |

				I am still getting the same error after increasing the maximum retry attempts to 5 or 10. _________________ IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere MQ V5.3 |

				| When you get 2195, usually there is an FDC. Post the FDC and somebody might help |
