				Should be simple ?

Just switched over to using MB v6.

Created a very simple flow MQInput -> MQOutput

BUT, when creating the BAR, I get the following message :-

Results of addition to the bar file:

Processing file basic.msgflow

Failed to add file basic.msgflow to archive file.

Resource basic.msgflow cannot be added to the BAR file because it does not contain any input nodes.

Confused ? The flow does have a MQInput node, the queue that it refers to exists on WBRK6_DEFAULT_QUEUE_MANAGER, clearly I am missing something obvious ?

Are you SURE you used an MQInput node and not a MQGet node or something else? (I don't mean to insult you, but I've done this several times with V6 without any problem). _________________ -wayne |

I'm not in the least insulted and I am absolutely positive it is an MQInput node.

Actually this problem has resolved itself.

What we (me and my team) have found is that MBv6 has a number of slightly irritating idiosynchracies, most of which disappear if you do 'clean' your project prior to trying to deploy it. For example - if you have an eSQL module declared for a given node, often when you subsequently do 'right-click' Open eSQL, it will create a completely new module template. There are a few other annoying 'features' which I'm sure others will come across also.

Thanks for your response

				Thanks for posting the "fix".....

a follow on question, do you have this problem after applying FP1 for the toolkit? _________________ -wayne |
