Hi,
Is it possible to use WMB File extender 5.0 with WBIMB 6.0 ? Or is there any other way to get such type of facility in MB 6.0? Please respond. |

WMB File Extender 5.0 supports WBIMB v5 FP5+
WMB File Extender 5.0 FP1 will provide support for WMB v6.0
WMB File Extender 5.0 FP1 will be available within the next few days

While going through the document for Message Broker File Extender FP1 (C3466661.pdf) I found that the fix for APAR IY77292 on WBI MB 6 is a pre-requisite for installing this FP1. However, I could not get the fix patch for the APAR on IBM support site. Can anyone please provide the link for the patch download?

SOE: Specified operating environment - system requirements - hardware and software prerequisites:
The versions of Message Broker supported by File Extender plus FP1 (V5.0.1) are as follows:
1/ WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker V5.0.1 with Fix Pack 5. (Note that APAR IC45439 is not a prerequisite.)
2/ WebSphere Message Broker V6 - with fix for APAR IY77292, which is available from:
ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/software/mqseries/fixes/wmbv60/
The original system requirements web page is at:

This web page will be updated shortly to reflect these new prerequisites and details of the code levels.
