Does anybody know the meaning of the messages below, generated at the user LOGON time ?

 - Removing left-over session for xxxxxx

 - Removing session yyyyyyyyyyyyyy

It sounds like a dangling session which is automatically removed by the Execution Server.

Is it true ?

I don't recall ever seeing messages like this... Under what circumstances are you seeing these, and where. What Version of MQWF, what Client are you using? _________________ John McDonald

I use the web client on MQ WKF 3.4 which runs on z/OS platform.

The messages are taken from the web server log, but I'd like to know which are the circumstances generating them.

				Hi,

I dont think that the messages are generated by the execution server. The messages seem to be of the cleanup server.

Does the message appear at every logon or only at a particular time ?

Thanks and Regards,

Casting a glance into the log, they seem generated at the logon time only.

My experience with MQWF on z/OS is extremely limited... I do not recall seeing these messages on other platforms.

You might want to open a PMR to get your answer... and of course if you do please tell us _________________ John McDonald
