				Hi all.

I've been using MQ v5.3 on Windows and Solaris for a while now, and I'm evaluating v6.0 now on Linux x86. I have installed MQ v6.0, and I am eager to check out the new eclipse-based explorer for configuration. I'm pretty sure I installed all the necessary RPMs, but I am having a heck of a time getting a manual from the IBM site regarding linux x86 for MQ version 6.0.

I've only managed to get the Quick Beginnings guide for Linux x86, and I can't be the only one who finds IBM website notoriously difficult to navigate.

I suppose I am looking for either an installation or sys admin guide for lMQ on linux. I'm not exactly sure which guide I need, but any direction would be helpful.

I'll install the man page RPMs and see if that leads anywhere.

Thanks in advance. |

There's a Documentation CD with v6, that has an Info Center installer on it. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

I should have been more specific -- I have all the official v5.3 CDs, but I downloaded the 90 day evaluation copy of v6.0 for linux x86 architecture. Suffice it to say, I do not have this CD you mentioned.

Anyway to get ahold of this online? I recall being able to find all sorts of PDFs online for MQ with Java, Platform specific installation, etc. I am unable to find PDFs for MQ v6.0. |

Well, hopefully that will do for now! Thanks for the heads up -- for whatever reason (most likely my inability to navigate IBM's site) I was unable to locate those PDFs. |

Also, there was as part of the beta download, or closely associated with it, a separate download of the manuals. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
