I believed on v7 you have a choice to start qmgr by
/+QMNAME START QMGR. The parm itself included on the mq master proclib.

on the z/os uss environment, type hostname will shown you the dsn name.
i cant recall the name of the file ie under uss will show you vipa etc to the lpar.

I saw the similar error on our mq console log. this is due to the F5 load balancer on the 2 servers. Similar rrror shown on the log but at the same time channel restarted immediately.

we have the Broker and other SOA components sit on z/OS. main reason bcoz the core application is on the z/os. Lpar1 for legacy core apps, Lpar2 for broker + soa etc.

SOLVED - delete the old archive files and restart the qmgr.

I would suggest go with CICS Bridge - this will be less changes on the CICS apps side.
Since the broker on Windows, not sure whether u can use the CICS / VSAM node there. |
