I installed MQ Client 5.1 and the MA88 support pack on a Windows 2000 machine. I've added the .jar files in ..mqseriesjavalib to the CLASSPATH and also to the PATH. However when I try to run IVTRun -nojndi I'm getting an error "The Dynamic Link Library MQM.dll could not be found on the specified path". Why am I getting this error? I don't have mqm.dll anywhere on my machine. I thought the JMS classes only required the mqjbnd02.dll.

I had previously installed the full client+server version of MQSeries 5.2 with the MA88 support pack and it worked fine.

thanks

If you did that on this machine. Uninstall all the server stuff first. Check references in your PATH and CLASSPATH for old installation.

Install MA88 fresh and try the test.

				| I think I've figured it out. I modified one of my own programs to use Client mode instead of bindings mode and it seems to be ok. However IVTRun still doesn't work. |

Hi,Tim, I think you should add ..mqseriesjavalib to CLASSPATH,

and add ..mqseriesjavalib and ..mqseriesbin to PATH. |

				| Ok I got IVTRun to run fine. I was running it with -nojndi and that won't work. I had to define the QCF and Q in reference them via JNDI. In the QCF you have to set the property TRANSPORT(CLIENT). |
