Hi All,
As all know MQ v5.2 is not supported by IBM but i have to install on new development server.
I have to install MQ v5.2 on solaris 8,
Can you please help me to installed MQ v5.2 on solaris system.How should i start to install.
can any one suggest me how many package i have to install.
Can any one give me some link or tell me about some docs available where step are given so that i can go to that docs and installed.

Why can you not install v6 atleast... on the server
v5.2 docs wont be available....

Thanks for your reply,
Actually MQ v 5.2 was installed on previous server, now my development server has changed so same version v 5.2 i have to install on new server.
If some docs are available for MQ v6.0 i think it might be helpful to install v 5.2 also.
if you have any doc please share with me.

You need the "MQSeries Quick Beginnings for Solaris V5.2" manual ! Post a private message to me and I can email the PDF to you.
The V5.3 or V6.0 manual will be significantly different from V5.2.

They are similar, but there is no guarantee the packaged components will have exactly the same names and structure. The s/w prerequisites are definitely different. The GSKIT is different.
