| I am working with Message broker 7 and I am a newbie. My question is how can I tell the size of a file coming in or tell if the file is empty? |

By seeing how many records WMB read out of it before it got to End Of Data.

On a large file, that's a big assumption and the subject of much debate here.

The best and simplest way is to interogate the number of records recorded when the file has finished processing and the End Of Data terminal is invoked.
