I've installed CSD03 on our development server (WinNT) and deleted/recreated the ConfigMgr. Now, whenever we attempt to add a Lanuage Binding or Physical Format to a message set - either a new or existing one - we get a BIP1813W error indicating that the Msg Set is not locked: Freezing Message Set operation not permitted. The message set is of course checked out when we attempt to do this.

Has anyone else encountered a similar error? Did you find a resolution? |

				Steve,

Isn't BIP1813W a warning message? Are you able to perform the operation successfully even after getting this message?

As per the CSD3 memo.ptf file, CSD3 contains fix for the problem ...

It might be a warning, but it doesn't let us continue. The full text of the message includes the comment "Check out Message Set, <MSName> and retry the operation"

Of course the Message Set is already checked out so this doesn't do us any good. I've backed out CSD03 and it is working again. |

Looks like CSD3 has introduced more problems!

				| What version are we talking about here, is it 2.0.2 or 2.1, we've got a number of problems on both platforms. Does anyone have any thoughts on the most stable version and CSDS? |

This is some sort of persmissions problem. Bascially log in as the user that is running the config manager and it'll work no hassle.

Segs: This is 2.1 CSD03. Have to say CSD03 appears to have introduced 3 errors for me nobody else appears to be having these problems tho (apart from this MRM one). |

				| This problem was resolved by APAR IC34470. Thanks to all who responded. |

I'm currently having the same problem. Where did you find the APAR for this?

				Hi,

I'm also having fun with this problem. Can anyone send me or point me towards somewhere I can download the efix for APAR IC34470 from?

Also, am I right in assuming the fix will apply equally to WMQI 2.1 and WMQI Broker for Multiplatforms (trips off the tongue nicely, doesn't it?) 2.1? I know they are essentially the same thing but you can't be too sure, can you?

Cheers -
