I have installed MQ Explorer on my Windows XP desktop machine. I have added two of my remote queue managers to MQ Exporer, one resides on a Solaris server (WebSphereMQ V6.0) and the other resides on a mainframe server. I can list the queues on both these queue managers but when I right-mouse click any queue the only options I get are:

 Compare with...

 Properties...

I believe that I should get options to put a message on the queue or to read a message off the queue. None of the queue managers or queues have security applied to them.

I would greatly appreciate some advice regarding this.

thanks,

Thank you for your quick responses.

It is likely that I don't have the necessary privileges on my desktop as it was installed by our help desk as the 'Administrator' and I only have basic user access.

Thanks for the pointer,
