Greetings,
Our client, a large finance services firm in New York City, is seeking a Systems Administrator to take on the mission critical role of covering all aspects of Windows systems administration, IBM MQSeries system administration, and integration with Microsoft Windows environments. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance to application development and support staff, work closely with Windows system administrators, and with network engineers, and interact with system/application vendors.
REQUIREMENTS
* 4-year technical degree
* 4+ years of experience in Windows system administration
* Perl Scripting
* Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol
* 4+ year of IBM MQSeries experience
* Good communication and documentation skills
* Financial markets exposure a plus
* Knowledge of UNIX a plus
* Veritas NetBackup/BackupExec a plus
