Exist any parameter to include on ODBC connection that convert's the character or the problem looks like ccsid's???

Thanks

Could it be that on of the bytes being sent is outside the char limits (like padding with hex 00)?

I have a hard time thinking of a true local character that cannot be converted to unicode _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Any character in a local codepage for which there is not a conversion table to Unicode available. This implies nothing about whether there is a conversion possible... just that there isn't a table found. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Thanks jefflowrey and fjb_saper, for your's answers, but where can i configure the convertion table?

My database is Informix 7.2 and i'm connecting with ODBC 3.82 32Bit.

The contents of my table is the following:

t_ncmp	t_net t_nama

230 geral@xxxx.pt Transp. Reun.

240 geral@xxxx.pt Lus. Seg

250 geral@xxxxx.pt SO. Técn

260 Gestão Imo.

The two first's records "230 as 240" return's ok and the "250 and 260" return "Unconvertable Characters".
