				Hi,

I am trying to import a flat format from a MQSI2.0.1/NEON(Oracle) database to WMQI2.1/NNSY (Oracle)database and i get the following error,

 "AppendFieldToInputFormat failed"(-2605).

This is on AIX 4.3. and I am using the NNFie utility.

I am able to import the same flat format to DB2 database for WMQI2.1/NNSY on Windows NT.

Has anyone got a solution for this, please let me know.

Thanks, |

				Hi,

NNSY database format has undergone some serious evolution

going from 2.0.1 to 2.1. What should work is a two-step

upgrade over 2.0.2, i.e. use nnfie2.0.1 for export

use nnfie2.0.2 for import/export into a 2.0.2 NNSY database

and then finally migrate to 2.1.

Anyway, contact your IBM support to confirm, whether direct

migration from NNSY 2.0.1 to 2.1 is supported. If so, they

should provide you with a bugfix. They way I mentioned might

be a bit faster though.
