I'm looking for some suggestion or rules of naming convention for MQ objects, such as:

Queue manager

local queue

remote queue

alias queue

model queue

temporary queue

channel

process

...

Are there any suggestion or ruls to follow by? How do the MQ users naming their MQ objects?

Thanks,

Take a look on this supportpack from IBM:

http://www-4.ibm.com/software/ts/mqseries/txppacs/md01.html

The rest is up to you, it's almost like religion, so such a naming convention differs from company to company. It's wise to avoid using special characters and only use uppercase english, end use '.' as an delimitter.

The last because of security implementation on version 5.3 and OS/390, Z/OS.

I hope it helps you.
