Hi,
- is it possible on the IBM web site to see what are the last OS Solaris8 patches necessary for mqs 5.3?
- the different manuals Quick Beginnings do not give the same info depending on the date of the edition?
- and we need to have an official info reference on that

Do not ask the same twice. 
I would assume that the later manual, with the highest revision number is correct.

Also, the product/CSD Readme.txt (or install.txt) reflect latest path numbers.
