				The following text was intended to be published in the fp6 memo.ptf but looks like it has got missed. All the other options not mentioned are not mentioned for a reason (ie untested, dont work, not required etc) but their names indicate what they do.

AMQICSDN has a number of command line parameters which can modify its
 
behaviour under specific circumstances.
 
 
The currently supported options are:
 
 
Syntax
 
   AMQICSDN.exe <parms>
 
 
Where <parms> is any number of
 
 
   MQPLOG - Specifies the log to be used during install/uninstall
 
            eg. MQPLOG="C:\TEMP\CSDINSTALL.LOG"
 
 
   MQPBACKUPPATH - Specifies the directory to backup into during install
 
                   eg. MQPBACKUPPATH="C:\MQM\CSD07"
 
 
   MQPREBOOT - Specifies what to do when a reboot is required
 
               eg. MQPREBOOT=1
 
       Supported values:
 
          <not supplied> - Prompt for what to do
 
          0              - Suppress the reboot
 
          1              - Reboot without asking
 
 
   MQSILENT - Specifies whether to do a silent install or not
 
              eg. MQPSILENT=1
 
       Supported values:
 
          <not supplied>, 0 - Interactive install
 
          1                 - Silent install
 
 
   MQPINUSEOK - Specifies whether to continue even if a file is found to
 
                be currently locked by another application. Note should
 
                this occur, then this will require a reboot to complete
 
                fixpack installation. eg. MQPINUSEOK=1
 
       Supported values:
 
          <not supplied>, 0 - Fail if files are found to be in use
 
          1                 - Deferred install upon reboot
 
 
   MQPUNINST - Specifies the removal of the last fixpack eg. MQPUNINST=1
 
       Supported values:
 
          <not supplied>, 0 - Do an install
 
          1                 - Do an uninstall of the latest fixpack |

				Now you dont think I can answer that do you? I'm sure it'll be out this year sometime...   Actually fwiw its pretty close to shipping...
 
 
Actually my reply wasnt meant to imply that - The amount of testing fixpacks go through before release means we know in advance some things, this included. Actually since making my post, I had a chat to the person coordinating this and he had to make changes to the memo.ptf anyway, so I think it may well have been added. |
