				Hello,
 
 
If i have to transfer a bigger file size, can i change the MAXMSG LENGTH value of the QM to a higher value and transfer a bigger file??

				Depending on MQ Version,  you can bump up the max message length on the queue, but if you are going to a transmit queue you will also need to bump up the channel defintions 
 
 
100mb is the max message length.  I think it started with MQv5.2 _________________ Jeff

				You mean to say i have to change the MAXMSG LENGTH for the queuemanager,queue,transmit Q,and channel???

				It's probably not a bad idea to review your log settings as well.  If you're shipping 100MB   messages over your channels, and your logs can only hold 20MBs   , you might want to increase the number of log files.   _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
