I think i haven't understood your suggestion but that is what exactly i would like to achieve but our ExceptionList tree gives the parse next exception and we will have to navigate the recoverable exception tree to the last to capture the correct error.............I would rather create a procedure where i pass the value of the field to it and check for the data types and if there is a mismatch in the types will take the fieldname and populate it in SOAPFault.
