Oddly enough, it's in the DEFINE, DISPLAY & ALTER channel commands.
How did putting a local user with +put on the queue & +connect on the queue mamanger in the MCA user id field go? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

This I can understand as Administrator has 13 characters, and only 12 is allowed. I can see how this might be a problem. |
Not knowing your exact setup but according to our Win Admins...
The SID for the 'Administrator' account being passed from the W23K machine will NOT match the SID of the 'Administrator' account on the NT machine, hence the error
I think you'll find the name is truncated in the output print but still resolves to the account. |
I think you'll find it's not. IBM recommend not using the Administrator account to maintain MQ for this very reason. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
