Well, that's not completely true.

He could write a custom Java procedure to do this insert, and put it into it's own little jar file, and deploy that to all his brokers... And then do that for every place he needs to use ESQL, so he has lots and lots of little jar files...

But learning how to use the product is a much better idea, in my opinion.
