Hi,
Yes, I have set 'Type Content' property to closed.
Please see the steps I have followed to create message set-
1.created all child elements with fixed length for iDoc Line
2.created a compound type t1: Data Element Seperation- Fixed Length and add all above child element.
3.created an element 'iDocHeader' with tag 'EDI_DC40'.
3.created a element c1 with type the above compound type t1 and tag 'Z2EDPSPT', min occurs - 1, max occurs - 100 and repeating element delimiter - <CR><LF>
4.created a 2nd compound type: Data Element Separation - Tagged Delimited, Length of tag - 8, Delimiter - <CR><LF> and add c1, iDocHeader element
5.created a element with type 2nd compound type and min occurs - 1, Repeating Element Delimiter - <CR><LF>
It is working fine for all valid inputs. But I could not able to create any exception due to invalid inputs like length mismatch, number of repetition greater than allowed value. all have been parsed.
Please tell me what I am missing?
Thanks in advance. |

Your model looks correct to me. If you're using 2.1 CSD8 the compute node properties should contain a validation tab. It may be worth checking that you really are on CSD8. |
