Workflow server is not starting and throwing this error

for both the configurations I have,

Error location = File=/projects/fmc/drv2/lbld/v350/aix/src/fmcrrstx.cxx, Line=6

18, Function=FmcRRSTx::BeginGlobTx()

Error data = FmcTransXException, ReturnCode=2122

Changed RT password,

but still the same problem.

Checked the configs with fmczchk and same error with both,

FMC34534E DB2INSTANCE is incorrect or not set.

Explanation: The configuration checker tried to determine the active DB2 instance, but a DB2 error occurred indicating that the value of DB2INSTANCE is incorrect or is not set at all.

Response: Make sure you have installed and configured DB2 correctly.

But the db2 instance seems to be alright

that doesn't mean anything to me... but I don't recall ever seeing a message like this in the past and it certainly looks like it could be the cause of your error.... Perhaps someone else will be able to help. _________________ John McDonald

				Hello Devin ,

I don't have a user mqm , but I have a user named MUSR_MQADMIN

Can I use the user MUSR_MQADMIN for starting the "IBM MQSeries" service ?

Any help is very appreciated.

I have had the problem on AIX server.

So I am not sure if it applies to Windows. But you can try the same with MUSR_MQADMIN userid. _________________ IBM Certified Solution Designer -

				Hi Devin ,

I set to "LocalSystem" the user that initiates "MQ Series" and "MQ WorkFlow 3.6". Also I installed "MQ WorkFlow 3.6 SP 2"

But now the next error appears on the fmcsys.log:

-----------------------------

12/04/2006 01:38:27 p.m. FMC31050E An error has occurred which has terminated processing.

12/04/2006 01:38:27 p.m. FmcFMLException, MQReturnCode=2, MQReasonCode=2059, MQObjectName=FMCQM, severe error

Do you have any ideas ?

Devin thanks for your help.

MQRC 2059 is QMGR not available,

So please check if the queue manager is running. _________________ IBM Certified Solution Designer -

				Hi !

When I try to execute "Web Sphere MQ Explorer" the next error

is displayed in Spanish:

"No se han podido inicializar los objetos de WebSphere MQ Servicios. 0x8000401A

El proceso del servidor no ha podido iniciarse debido a que la identidad configurada no es correcta.

Compruebe el nombre del usuario y la contraseña. (AMQ4100)"

My translation to English is:

"It can't be initialized the objects of WebSphere MQ Services. 0x8000401A The server process can`t be initialized due to the configured identity is incorrect. Verify the userid and password. (AMQ4100)"

I tryed to initialize this service with the users: LocalSystem and MUSR_MQADMIN , but the service don't run. MUSR_MQADMIN belongs to mqm group.

Thank you for helping me !
