Hi,
Make sure that the Java version you are using is the one that is supplied with the supplemental disk. On Linux (esp RedHat) it is very important that you install this version of Java. |

Make sure you are in the directory that contains setuplinuxia32!
Also, use the 1.4.2 JRE, download and install it, the home is IBMJava2-142 i think. 141 is no longer available for download.
I also know LD_ASSUME_KERNEL should be 2.4.19 on redhat3.
Have fun! |

Yeah I just realized it was a silly mistake....I have never done an install on linux before and was following a guide someone created which had you running this command then unpacking the tar and obviously the tar needs to be unpacked. Its been a long week and its only Wed!!!! _________________ IBM Certified Specialist - WebSphere MQ Integrator

Another problem I found on a client site is the dependency check, WBIMB 5 moans if you do not have agent controller 5.0.1 installed (5.0.2 works fine but it still complains).
If you run through the X gui setup then you can ignore the warning and proceed to install, if you run the console setup then it does not let you ignore the warning and you cannot install. |
